Industry Events
Members from Women in Logistics UK attend various industry events. Invitations to meet at these events are often posted on the LinkedIn discussion board so please check there for more information.
27 - 28 September 2011
at V3, Doncaster
Logistics Link North is a free-to-attend exhibition designed to stimulate and inspire logistics professionals and help you improve your warehouse and logistics operations.
Northern England´s leading logistics exhibition will take place at V3 where visitors will be able to test and compare some of the industry's most innovative products and services in a warehouse environment. The show is brimming with new ideas to help you cut costs and will give you the best opportunity to conduct an end-of-year efficiency audit for your warehouse and logistics processes.
There are plenty of visitor attractions to make this the most valuable day spent out of the office this year, from the cutting edge programme offered by the Logistics Manager Conference, through to the efficiencies offered by exhibitors or the opportunity to see products demonstrated live in the Live Demo Arena.
Logistics Link North also offers a great opportunity to network and exchange ideas with industry peers in the Buyer Networking Lounge.

4th October — Leicester — Sustainability — more than just CO2
9th December — London — Managing Your Supply Chain in a Disruptive Environment
Leaders in Supply Chain, which was formerly the Logistics Directors' Forum, was founded in 1991 as an independent, self-funding body operating under the umbrella of CILT. It is an invitation only network of leading practitioners helping to shape the future of the supply chain profession. Membership is limited in number, and members hold senior leadership roles within their organisations and are passionate about the supply chain and its role in business and sustainable economic development. The group meets four times per year to debate current issues, with themes and topics suggested by members.
Although membership is by invitation only, you may express your interest in joining this exclusive group by contacting Helen Gallimore at liscuk@hotmail.co.uk. The group is actively looking to recruit more female members.
